Micro mechanics
Based on our technology for the production of metallic micro parts, plastic parts and on silicon technology, we manufacture custom made mechanical components such as micro gears, grippers, positioning or suspension components. These parts are designed generally as extruded 2D geometry. When more complex geometries are required, multi level components can also be realized.
Micro gears:
We manufacture micromechanical elements such as gears from electroplated metals such as nickel.
Typical properties:
- Component height: up to several 100 µm
- Geometry: extruded 2D, single or multi-level
- Material: Metals, Plastic and Silicon
Technology and competencies:
Positioning elements:
For high-precision positioning, e.g. of optical elements, we produce mounts, from silicon for example. For example, coupling elements for glass fibers can be created this way. We also manufacture other components, such as a polarization filter element, for our customers in this way.

- Very precise alignment: a few µm accuracy is possible
- Material: e.g. silicon
